Welcome to Manhattan, international students!

One of the best parts about Manhattan, KS is how much of a multi-cultural melting pot it is thanks to so many academic and research opportunities at K-State. We love getting to welcome, know, and spend time with international students from all over the world, and we are so thrilled to partner with HIS (Helping International Students).

Moving to another country away from your family and friends is so hard. One of our staff, Ana, moved to Manhattan from Portugal and knows exactly what it’s like to find yourself in an unfamiliar culture. We would love to support you and become like a second family to you during your time here and beyond.

Uma das melhores características de Manhattan, KS é o o seu carácter multicultural devido à presença da Universidade K-State, que tantas oportunidades acadêmicas proporciona. Temos imensa alegria em receber e conhecer estudantes internacionais, dos mais variados lugares no mundo, por meio da nossa parceria com o ministério HIS (Helping International Students).

Mudar para outro país, longe da família e amigos não é tarefa nada fácil. Um dos elementos da nossa equipa, a Ana, mudou-se de Portugal para Manhattan e sabe exatamente o que significa e representa viver numa cultura diferente da sua, longe dos seus entes queridos.
